How Pintola handles your application data
This notice is from Das Foodtech Private Limited (the Pintola brand), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the data fiduciary for job applications made on this site. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.
What we collect
- Your name, email, mobile number, city and LinkedIn profile, as you enter them or as they appear in your resume.
- Your resume file and the text in it: work history, education, skills, certifications, languages.
- Your answers to the role’s questions, and notes our recruiters write about your application.
- Technical records: the time you applied and a hashed form of your network address, kept to prevent abuse.
Why
To evaluate you for the role you applied to, to contact you about it, and, only if you tick the option, to consider you for future roles at Pintola.
How screening works
Our own software reads your resume against the role’s published requirements and shows the recruiter which line of your resume answers each one. Identity details such as name, contact, age, gender and marital status are removed before that comparison. The software never rejects anyone on its own; a person decides. You may ask us to explain any decision.
How long we keep it
Twelve months after the role closes, then deletion. If you opted into future roles, until you withdraw that choice. Records required by law, such as access logs, are kept for at least one year.
Your rights
- See and correct your data, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion from My applications or by writing to privacy@pintola.in. We answer within 30 days.
- Complain to our grievance officer at the same address, and if unresolved, to the Data Protection Board of India.
Who sees it
Pintola’s recruiting team and the hiring manager for the role. Our systems run on Supabase (Mumbai region) and Vercel. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
Changes to this notice are versioned; the version you consented to is recorded with your application.
